Dr. Mario Spaggiari practices in the Division of Transplantation at UI Health. He has extensive experience in liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal transplantation, in addition to hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He has completed both an ASTS Multi-Organ Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and an Islet and Pancreas Transplantation Fellowship at UI Health. Dr. Spaggiari has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, presented his work at national and international meetings, and has co-authored several chapters in surgical textbooks.
